Ford Repair: Passenger side carpet floor gets wet, coat hanger, condesation

Question
I just recently purchased a 1996 Ford expedition, and just noticed the other day, the passenger floor was wet due to a box that is located under the glove box of the passer side. When the A/C is turned I guess the humidty from the outside sweats the box, but never had this problem in any other car I owned. Is there a way to fix this problem.

Answer
hey there, you are looking at the heater and ac heater box, there should be absalutly no water build up in this unit."UNLESS" the drain for the box is pluggeg!! there is a drain in this box to let out condesation from the evaporator for the air conditioning, you can locate this drain in the engine compartment on the passanger side of the truck. it will be located closer to the bottom of the fire wall. it will be a little rubber outlet, try poking in there with a coat hanger or try removing the rubber hose to clean it. alot of water may come out with it when you pull out the hose or clean it. let me know if this was helpful.
good luck
