Ford Repair: Daytime running light question, ford f 150, daytime running lights

 I have a Ford F-150 2005 and my daytime running lights are not working.  I have checked the fuse and bulbs and they are working fine.  So what else could the problem be from your experience on this particular vehicle.  

Also, the power locks stop working periodically, where one side will work and the other will not.  Is this a common problem as well on this vehicle.

hey there. If the fuses are ok  and the bulbs are ok there are a couple of possible reasons, If this vehicle is from the united states then the module is not programed with the DRLS activated. the dealer can hook up a scan tool and check if they are activated or not. these DRLS are module controled. so the if they are programed then there is a chance of a possible wiring issue. I have not see a problem with daytime running lights on these trucks yet, so thats all i can give you.
AS for the dorr lock issue, this s also news to me. i have seen a few window switch problems with these, but nothing with the power door lock. these seems like its also going to be another funky electricle issue. a rpoblem like that is ery hard to trace if everything is working, so as soon as it stops bring it to the dealer and let them have a look at it.
