Ford Repair: front brakes, lincoln continental, abs systems

Question
I have a 1999 Lincoln Continental that has had brake problems for some time. I have now discovered that if I turn off the traction control (using the on board computer), the brake system seems to respond (almost) normal, however with the traction turned on (the system defaults to traction on) the car will pull left (bad at high speeds)and then levels off. It is like the left caliper is getting fluid before the right for a fraction of a second.I have replaced the pads, rotors and calipers with no luck and the brake lines are clear. I believe the problem is in the ABS/traction control system. Is there a way to disconnect both systems and run without them. What would happen if I pulled out the 60 amp ABS fuse under the hood? Is there such a thing as an (ABS)HCU unit that directs the flow of brake fluid to the calipers? ........Thanks Mike

Answer
if u pull the fuse it will just disable the abs and turn the light on and yes all abs systems have some kind of hcu on them. i would have it scanned first then checked out could be a speed sensor or something and if you actually needed to make an emergency stop abs may come in handy. good luck.
