Ford Repair: 91 bronco overheating??, radiator hose, temp gauge

Question
Hi- I just bought a full size bronco with a 302 in it.we drove it about 3 miles and noticed the motor was extremely hot, but the water in the radiator was luke warm- We flushed the radiator and the block and put on a new water pump and thermostat- the water literally looked like someone dumped mud in the radiator-it was filthy- -Now the temp gauge is working and it says normal, but the bottom radiator hose isnt even hot and the water in the radiator is still luke warm-Could this mess have clogged up the block?? And how do I fix it? Thanks

Answer
Keep flushing the system, over and over again with cleaner. Use cleaner one the first flush, then repeat 3 times with straight water. Do this at least 3 times. You may want to remove the thermostat while doing this, because all kinda gunk is going to break loose.
