Ford Repair: Resetting check engine light, auto zone, money

Question
I had my check engine light come on today and had to replace some plugs (I knew it was coming from the way the car was acting) now I need to reset the light and I really don't want to disconnect the battery.  I know that there use to be a way to turn the ignition switch a certain amount of times or something.  Any advice would really be appreciated.  I really have no money to go to anyone to do this and the shops around here don't do it for free.  Thanks!

Answer
Hello Kim, Go to a auto zone and have them rear the code, then have them erase the code. They will perform this for free, otherwise disconnect the battery for 5 minutes to erase the code. If the code comes back you will have to have a diagnostic performed to see what is causung the light to come on. Thanks Tony
