Ford Repair: fuel problem, fuel pump relay, full tank

just got starter,fuel pump and fuel pump relay replaced on 91 T-Bird (six cylinder) have full tank of gas went to start car this morning (11 degrees temperature) car cranks but will not start??? frustrated and running out of money.Again car wouldn't start fuel pump not running,checked scharder valve no fuel,mechanic says he needs car not to run to diagnose problem??? Does this guy know what he is talking about? Then just yesterday 3/07/09 driving car to work and it just stopped running,no fuel being pumped to engine just as before. What could be the cause?? Disgusted...

Take the bottom cover off the steering column and take a look at the ignition switch. And no, I have no idea why he would want the car disabled??? That doesn't necessarily mean that he doesn't have a valid reason, it's just that I can't think of one. Get a second opinion.
