Ford Repair: clutch/removal of cluch slave cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, flat screwdriver

on the 1988 aerostar have not been able to remove the clutch slave cylinder from the transmission how do you remove the thing. need to change the clutch

i believe if this is an external slave cylinder it has a metal clip holding it on you will need to pry this clip off-look it over carefully and you will see how it works-disconnecting the line is different-the white plastic clip will have to be pushed in the slot toward the slave cylinder this can be done with a small flat screwdriver but if your not careful you will ruin it.
