Ford Repair: gasoline pump, gasoline pump, liter v6

Question
Hello, James. I have a 1998 Explorer 4.0 liter (v6), and my
gas pump no longer works. I can not find an original one
here in Brazil, but I was told the Ranger V6 takes the same
model (4BAR). Is that correct? Is it possible to use the
same as the Ranger v6? I waqs also told I could use the one
from 4.3 v6 GM. Is that also correct?

There are so many variables that it is hard to know where to start. Is your truck a 2WD, or 4WD? Was in Manufactured in Mexico, the US, or Canada? What size V^ Ranger are your referring to? The 3.0 V6 Ranger V6 fuel pump is the same part number as the 2Dr, 2WD Explorer from Mexico, if that helps. You should really try partsamerica.com. They should be able to ship you anything any where.
