Ford Repair: PATS 2, snap on tools, 2005 ford taurus

Question
installing aftermarket cd player and tripped the passive anti-theft system in a 2005 Ford Taurus SE.  It's a plug in system - I didn't do any wire cutting, a wire came out and I put it back in.  The THEFT light blinks quickly when the ignition is turned to ON and the car will not start.  Short of towing to a (far off) dealer ship, any ideas to reset?  I have two original keys and the key fob remotes.

Answer
the new snap-on tools solus pro scanner has something in it for pats reprogramming i haven't done one yet but i was reading that if you have two good keys it can be done through the scanner-make sure wire you put back is in correct slot then check with local garage to see if they have a solus pro if so they might be able to do this for you if not you may have to take it to a dealer-also another expert i believe it is chris has a post in his questions that pertains to this also i've been reading alot of his answers and he is very good so maybe you can post this question to him also. good luck.
