Chevrolet Repair: 97 Monte Carlo front end noise, tie ends, axle nut

Question
I have a 97 Monte Carlo that is generating front end noise under 40 mph.  The noise is much more audible when turning, either direction.  I have just recently replaced the passenger side wheel bearing (this was were the majority of the noise was coming from), but it didn't fix the problem.  The Driver side wheel bearing was replaced less than 15K miles ago. Your help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Answer
Hello Raymond, If the noise gets worst when you turn the wheel from side to side then this would tell me that you have a bad wheel bearing. The drivers side could be bad too even though it was replaced a short time ago. If they didn't torque it to spec(the axle nut) the bearing won't last. Be sure to have the outer tie ends check too, they get loose and go bad often.

Let me know what they find
