Ford Repair: Starter Relay, starter solenoid, fusible link wires

Question
1984 Ford F150 351W. I replaced the starter solenoid with new Ford part (old one was overheating when cranking engine) I installed all wires to new one and started truck. A large spark came from solenoid and now nothing happens when I turn key, also all accessories are dead. Where can I start to find problem?

Answer
check fusible link wires coming off of solenoid-tug them gently and see if one is seperated if so it is blown-then you would need to determine what caused it to blow. if they are not blown check connections and make sure you used a good quality solenoid-your battery is strong weak batteries or dragging starters will ruin solenoids and can make them stick in start position.
