Ford Repair: battery light on, tps sensors, ford excursion

Question
I have a 2000 ford excursion V10, the battery light came on, so i replaced the battery but it didnot solved the problem do you know what else could it be?

have the charging system checked sounds like alternator problem-now keep in mind weak batteries can ruin alternators and burn starters-bad alternators can ruin batteries and bad starters can ruin batteries-so you could have had a weak battery and it could have damaged alternator but if you want to save money have things checked before throwing parts at it. good luck.

there have been instances where bad tps sensors on ford trucks have turned on batt lights but is rare.
