Ford Repair: 1994 probe Transmission problems, filter change, transmission problems

I was just recently given a 1994 probe It goes is to drive reverse but it seems to shift very ruff I would like to fix this car if I can if you can help me know what might be the problem I'm I looking at just a filter change or could it be something else.  The person who gave it to me had taken it to a couple of different place and they all were saying it was electrical. I don't know if I believe that or not. Please let me know

I would like to help but you're description of symptoms were too vague. I don't understand? "1994 probe It goes is to drive reverse but it seems to shift very ruff." Have you tuned it up yet? That's always a good place to start. First rule to buying a car, change the oil and have a thorough inspection done.
