Ford Repair: rain water leakage, 2002, 2003

I have a 2004 Ford Taurus SE, front interior right upper corner, passenger side leaks with rain.

Water may have entered the blower motor fresh air intake.This could leak at the point you explained to me and also short the blower motor and the resistor.
Ford has a TSB on this issue.
You may need a splash shield installed along with a new right side cowl screen if the one on your car is warped. This is explained in the TSB that was issued.
