Ford Repair: coolant resevior 97 Taurus, ford taurus, head gasket

Hi...I will do my best not to confuse you..My 97 Ford Taurus has water coming out of the coolant resevior after I turn it off.I haven't noticed the car doing it in traffic or at lights.The car is not registering hot on the gage.I had the thermostat replaced just incase it still is seeping water though.I thank you in advance for any input you may have.

your jug probably has a crack in it very common-is your coolant brown
these year models had problems with metal incompatabilities between freeze plugs and blocks and would turn coolant brown-you can google taurus brown coolant and read more about it-jugs will crack and if your coolant is clean don't worry about it just replace resevoir but if it is brown you may have more serious problems coming water pump/head gasket/radiator etc.
