Ford Repair: No break lights, advance auto parts, check fuse

Question
QUESTION: 1997 f-250 HD 7.3 Turbo Diesel. 150,000 miles. Standard shift. The brake lights just stopped working one day, then the turn signal stoped working, hazzards also didn't work. Narrowed it down to Ignition Switch. Figured that out on my own after spending $60.00 on a Multifunction switch. All the stuff I found online said it would be multifunction switch or damaged or broken wires. I replaced the Ignition switch and I now have turn signals. I still don't have brake or hazard lights. I checked fuses and bulbs and replaced them also anyway. Everything I purchased for the truck was purchased at Advance Auto Parts. I also replaced brake light switch. any thoughts on this problem?

ANSWER: if it is a tilt wheel you need to check wires going into multifuntion switch connector they will look ok but will pull out easily and you would need to replace connector don't just look at these wires physically pull each one because they will look ok if that don't work take it to a reputable garage.

QUESTION: If it is not a tilt wheel. Should I still check the wires going into multifunction switch. Let me go a little further with this story. I have no power at the fuse. No power at the brake light switch. It is a green & a Green & orange wire for the brake light switch. I have traced these wires and can't seem to figure out were they come from. Everywhere I have found them they are dead. NO POWER. Any more thoughts on my problem.

Answer
now why didn't you say that before

if fuse 13 in cabin fuse box has no power check fuse 13 in the underhood fuse panel and relay box the inside fuse is fed from the outside fuse panel with a black and orange wire if that fuse has no power you will need to check feeds to the outside panel which may require unbolting or unclipping it so you can gain access to bottom to check feed wires-if you have a trailer hitch and the outside fuse is blown be sure and check the wires on rear of truck.
