Ford Repair: starting problem, inertia switch, coil wire

Question
i have a 1993 ford ranger 3.0 v6 extended cab xlt  it will not start. have tuned it up and still wont start. the engine does turn over. heard about a inertia switch but cannot locate to reset

Answer
do you hear fuel pump hum when key is first turned on
do you have spark when turning engine over
has your check engine light been on or coming on and if so was it flashing

you can check spark by removing coil wire and holding it about 1/4 inch above coil tower while someone spins over engine if you have it turn your attention to fuel a pressure guage to test pressure would be nice check with your local auto zone store to see if they have one you can rent/borrow you need at least 30lbs pressure during cranking.

let me know what you come up with
