Ford Repair: 2001 Ford escape engine light, damp weather, escape engine

Question
When it is rainy or damp weather my cars runs crappy and engine light comes on. Will go out after about a week, and then come back on in crappy weather.

A water leak intrusion can cause a condition like this. Pull all four interior kick panels and your front scuff plates,put your hand under the rug and see it it is wet or damp. "A" pillar,inside bulk head seam leak,water entering the fresh air intake, or side windshield leaks, can leak on top of a module.
