Ford Repair: 87 mustang 2.3 HELP!!!, climate control, egr valve

My mustang starts and idles good and runs ok but then sputters and trys not to run at less than full throttle and then runs o.k. again and so on. I have had mechanics replace the map sens. and computer. But same problem. I want to convert to carb. What will I need to do the swap and will my ecc be a factor?

IF you are dead set to dump the fuel injection you will still want to check things first. How long has it been known to "run good" then sputter? Can you get a mile down the road? Check to make sure you don't have a stuck EGR valve. You will be discarding the computer that you just bought. Are you talking about the climate control? Because it shouldn't be affected. Do you have an intake and carburetor you can put on it?
