ANSWER: Check you're ignition timing. When you say hard to start,do you mean that it turns over slow,or haves trouble igniting and the motor just spins over?

QUESTION: hey thanks for answering and i will check the timing. the hard start is the engine spins over fine it just wont fire. do you think the iac motor could cause problems like that if it was acting up?
thanks again for answering and let me know what you think,
Mike

Answer
Bot very likely that it is the IAC.There are three sensors that might need you're attention. If the check engine light is on,try pulling the stored codes.I would start with the coolant temperature sensor and air charge temperature sensor for twenty bucks each.Very easy fixes, the great thing is that you should be able to change them out very easily. The MAP sensor, the third and last,is about 50 bucks.A trouble code should let you know if the MAP sensor is functioning improperly.
