Ford Repair: No brake lights, turn signal switch, brake light switch

Question
My brake lights are not coming on, they do not turn on at all not even when braking. The back door light is also out. Checked all fuses they are fine.

Answer
Joe,

Grab a test light and check your brake light switch mounted directly on the brake pedal. You should have power on one side until you push the brake down then you will have power on both sides. From there it goes into your turn signal switch. make sure you don't accidently have the hazard button pushed on as that disables the brake lights.  If you have no power at the brake light switch use your test light to check the fuses. Should be a 10 amp brake fuse that supplies power to the switch. The fuse should show power on both sides.
