Ford Repair: 98 ford ranger rocker arms, rocker arms, ford ranger

Question
Hi. I just put new heads and valves (used my old rocker

arms, lifters & pushrods) on my 98 ford ranger 3.o, 160,000

miles and now my rocker arms rattle. My old valves seats

were worn badly so they were seating deep. My rocker arms

were worn where they rub on the fulcrum. I'm guessing 20

thousands.  Do you think just replacing the rockerarms

would solve this or pushrods and lifters too?

Answer
It all depends, you will have to be the best judge of that.It all depends on how much longer you want to spend on this project. What I mean is if you want to keep tearing it down.Replace it all is my advice. Those 3.0's are wicked little motors when dialed in.Put a mild little cam in on this next install is my advice, that you can do while replacing the lifters. The push rods are kind of up in the air,but if you want my advice, why risk it?
