Ford Repair: 2000 Ford Focus 5 speed, 4 cylnder, ford dealer, pump fuel

Question
This is what I have recieved for you after my question. Please read the question below the response and please help me, "Expert".

Hello,
We are sorry, but James wasn't able to answer your question:

I had problems with my car starting 9 months ago... 2 days before it broke down, the car would almost lose power as I drove the car. It would not stall but I would have to floor it to get it to go. Then, one day it just did not start; I changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs/wires and it still did not start, it would crank but not turn over. I finally took it over to Ford and they changed my Timing Belt and a couple of pulleys that where rusted up. Wow, I was finally able to start the car, but as I drove out of the parking lot it broke down and died on me 15 times on the way home. I put new gas in the car along with dry gas and nothing. When I drive the car it drives like I have no power to go and I have to keep my foot on the clutch. I have heard  such things like: it could be an air flow problem. Come to find out I was only running on 3 cylinders for who knows how long... With all that said, I was hoping you could help me guess at what could be wrong? I don't want to take it back to Ford until I have an idea of what is wrong, they charge to much just to tell me what the problem is. I also hooked up an OBDII and it is not electrical, it said the car had no problems and trust me I hooked that thing up to the car before it was, somewhat fixed, and after Ford messed with it and again during while I was "trying" to drive it. Please, any advise will help. Thanks,

Josh

Answer
Hello Josh, How recent was it at the Ford Dealer for repair ? If was very recent i would call and talk to the service manager about your issues. They should recheck at no charge. Does it have a check engine lite on? When it lose power does the rpms drop down? Let me know Thanks Tony
