Ford Repair: ignition wires, spark plug wires, spark plug

I have a 2001 e-250 that has just started missing under acceleration, am I correct in assuming it could be the spark plug wires and if so are they difficult to change myself? Thank you for your help!  Brad

Hello Brad, Changing wires can be time consuming and a little more difficult on an E Series. But check 1st to see if it is wire or coil on plug. You should have a diagnostic performed to see which cylinder is missing then go from there. You may save your self some time and money. Hope this helps Thanks Tony
