Ford Repair: 2001 v6 3.8 mustang will not start, mass air flow sensor, mass air flow

Question
I have a 2001 v6 3.8 mustang, will not start. it has new plugs, and wires. can see and smell fuel on the plugs. pulled #1 spark plug wire and plug and was able to see a spark so it looks like it is getting fuel and spark. when i try to start it, it sounds like it wants to start, but does not. i have no clue what it might be any ideas?

Answer
Hello Jeff, Try pushing down about 1/4 way on gas pedal to see what happens, Also check fuel pressure, at the rail should be about 35-38 psi. Also unplug the mass air flow sensor located at the air box and try to start it to see what happens if the others don't seem to do anything. Hope this helps Thanks Tony
