Ford Repair: full size bronco rear end, ford bronco, brake shoes

Question
i have a 88 full size ford bronco rear end problem i just replaced the rear brake shoes drove good for a day then i notices a vibration at about 45-50 first thought was u joints then as i accelerated it got worse then real bad, bad enough to have to slow down when i hit the brakes it got worse and as i slowed it vibrated until about 20 mph them wnet away and statred again at 45 i went home slowly jacked the rear end and found that i grab the brake drum and pull the axle in and out about 1/8" or little less is this the cause and how can i fix it i'm a very mechanical just never had arear end apart yet and don't want unless i have to. what do i do

Answer
Hello Justin, If it did not vibrate untill after you did the brakes recheck the brakes, make sure you do not have the shoes crossed because there is a  primary and a secondary shoe. and check your drums fit against the axle or were they machined. Hope this helps Thanks Tony
