GETTING TERRIBLE GAS MILEAGE AND LACK OF POWER DID ALL YOUR BASIC TUNEUP STUFF STILL NO HELP

I need you to be a little more specific about you're idea of a basic tune up,because my idea of one and you're idea are probably not the same.
Is the check engine light on?What are the codes?Do you have the dohc 3.0?
There are a couple of things that will give you lousy gas mileage.They include o2 sensors,MAP sensors,coolant temperature sensors,and even incorrect spark plug gap.What kind of plugs did you buy.Did you gap them?What did you gap them at?
