Ford Repair: ford areostar, ford aerostar van, ford aerostar

Question
i have a 1995 ford aerostar van over 200,000 miles. i have just changed the radiator. the water tank was leaking. however water continues to leak and i can't find where from, i will put water in the radiator while it is running and check under the vehicle and there is no leak but the radiator is losing water right then.it will go down to about half full and stay there for about two days before the instrument indicate the van is running hot. i have checked the exhaust, transmission and engine oil and no signs of water nowhere. this is a v6 4.0L engine.

Answer
It is imperative that you find the leak. Please don't run the van until it gets hot like that anymore. There are several places to look. You can get a radiator pressure tester to build pressure without having to wait. This might help. You could be looking at anything from a hose, intake gasket, head gasket,or plug.Have you checked the oil to see if there is water present? The only true way to check is through an oil change
