Ford Repair: ford escort 1997 1.8si, throttle position sensor, uneven surfaces

Question
my passenger front wheel has a knocking on it when i drive over uneven surfaces and also my revs go up and down when i start the car they start at about a 1000 and drop to 500 and they do that for about 5-10 minutes.when i dip the clutch to change gear my revs go down passed 500 and the car nearly cuts out every time .

Answer
First,is there anyway that you can describe you're front wheel problem other than knocking?Does it sound worse while turning?Second,is you're check engine light on?If so,take it to the parts store and have the codes read. You don't have to buy anything, just let me know what the codes are.Either you're IAC needs cleaning or the throttle position sensor needs replacement. You probably need to clean the throttle body and IAC.Instruction are posted in several previous questions.
