Ford Repair: ford windstar 3.8, ford windstar, fuel filter

My ford windstar's engine runs fine. but i drive it a few minutes.Come to traffic light doesn't want to move.Engine is running.Shut off car let it rest 45  seconds, I start it then it moves about 100 feet.Then slowly loses power again.It keep doing this.Please help!

I need to know if the check engine light is on first.Also, I will need to know the year of the Windstar.Did this just start happening.Some other simple questions like have you changed the fuel filter?How many miles does it have,the engine?When was the last time that you had the timing belt/chain serviced?
