Ford Repair: 2000 ford windstar 3.8L, mass air flow sensor, mass air flow

The engine has code P0302 and P0174. I changed the cam sensor it was making noise, now these code came up. At idle the eng runs ok. When put in gear to take off it starts to miss. Checked plugs and new wires. compression ok. Cleared the codes and went on test drive they came back after 6 miles. Pulled the wires on injectors and the made the eng drop down.

One of the codes is for a faulty Mass Air Flow Sensor.Try having it replaced.That should do the trick.Go ahead and inspect all vacuum hoses and replace the PCV while you are at it.Replace the plugs,in particular the number 2 spark plug.It has misfired and will probably never operate correctly again.Something to keep in mind,never delete engine codes.It never fixes the problem.The codes will clear when the mechanical problem is fixed,after two drive cycles.
