Audio Systems: Issue with Car Audio system, amplifier section, battery exchange

Question
I own a 2000 Honda civic. Recently i got the battery replaced and the audio system asked for a code. i entered the code and audio system was activated. but to my surprise, i now am not getting any output from speakers. but let me know what can be the issue and how can i repair it?

if the radio is working and there is no audio most likely igt got damage  during the battery exchange  sometimes a small spike on voltage or jump start is enough to burn the power supply or amplifier section from the radio
