Ford Repair: 1975 F150 heater core, heater core, shop manuals

How do I get to the heater core in my truck?  I can see where the hoses go thru the firewall into the cab, but cannot see the core.  Do you go thru the glove box?

I offer my sincerest apologies for not getting an answer to you sooner. I have not worked on or seen a truck this old in quite a while, nor has anyone in my shop. We do not have manuals for this vehicle either.

To the best of my recollection, on your truck the heater case can be removed from under the dash without much difficulty. Our labor guide, which we do still have for those years, shows it being about a 2 hour operation. As soon as I can come up with the info for you I will add it here as a followup.

You might try your local library, some have shop manuals available for reference.
