Ford Repair: ABS brakes, abs brakes, mustang gt

Question
I have a 1994 Mustang GT,5-speed, when the brakes are applied, the ABS
light comes on and it makes a growling noise from the left front of the
vehicle, even though the pavement is dry and the brakes are not applied
overly hard, it is not a bad worn out set of pads or a metal on metal
noise, any ideas? Thanks-Mark

Answer
Hi Mark,
It sounds like you have an inadvertant ABS activation. This can happen if the ABS sensor is dirty or if you the sensor ring on the rotor is bent, missing, damaged or broken. remove front calipers and check sensors and rings. Good Luck!!
