Ford Repair: ford taurus 1994, ford taurus, tune ups

hi ya
i am about to buy a taurus 1994...
first impression ..is that run ok ..no problem with the transmission and the engine sound well(3000cc)
what should i be aware before i sign the paper???
has a 200000 km on the mileage...

Try to get maintenance records.When was the last time the timing belt/change was done?Did it get regular service(oil changes, tune ups, etc.)Have you ran a carfax to make sure about the title?The Ford Taurus is a great car with one exception,the transmissions.Also,look to see how much blow-by is coming out of the PCV to get a feel for the rings.
