Ford Repair: Firing Order, firing order, distributor cap

Question
Hi,
I have a 1991 Sable 3.8L. I think I have it right but wanted confirmation, please.
Firing order: 1-4-2-5-3-6
Number 1 cylinder is right front of the motor (closest to the passenger seat.)
Cylinders 1-2-3 are on one side and 4-5-6 on the other.
Distributor rotates counter-clockwise.
I have a Ford distributor cap with a number 1 stamped next to one of the connectors. It seems to be where the number 1 plug wire should go. Engine has never been rebuilt.
Am I correct in the above?

Answer
The firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6. 1 being the plug all the way to the left by the firewall 123 456 4 being the plug all the way to the left in front of the car. Now the distributor it has 2 screws to hold it down well starting from the back screw to the right going clockwise is 3-5-2-4-1-6
