Ford Repair: 95 Ranger 4.0L Rough Idle, mass airflow sensor, speed motor

Question
First off, thanks for taking the time to help people like me out.  If I've been driving my truck and park it for say 1/2 an hour, when I restart it the idle is very rough and the engine will die if I don't give it a little gas.  If it sits for over an hour, I have no trouble and the idle is fine.  If I stop for 5 minutes, when I start it up it'll idle high but after 10 seconds it's back down to normal.  The check engine light is on, but it's for the cam positioning sensor and that's been on since I purchased the truck.  The idle problem has only started in the last three months.  I would replace the cam position sensor, but they only sell the entire assembly and it sounds like you need to know what you are doing to replace that.  Any ideas or things to check?  Thanks!

Answer
yes i have a very good idea what is wrong. First these trucks are famous for the problem you are having. You need to clean the idle speed motor. Just take it off and use an intake cleaner and get all the dirt out. Would not hurt to take that same intake cleaner and clean your mass airflow sensor also....
