Cadillac: 94 cad seville 4.6 over heat, autoxray 5000, city busses

pressure check yes holding ok, thermostat open yes, fans only run with a/c and on low, autoxray 5000 says #2 fan only but both a runing, temp gos up in about 3-5 min. Where can I find the fan switch? new water pump, what a trip to R&R, HA HA. i WORK AS A DIESEL mech on vancouvers city busses mainly 7.3 power stroke, the car belongs to a very good friend, please respond.
