Ford Repair: Ford Escape Rear Drums, rear drum brakes, rear drums

Question
Hi Jimmy, I have a 4-cyl 2WD 2005 Escape.
After the front brake pads wore out at 30K miles, I'm trying to check the rear drum brakes.  But the drums just won't come off!  I've done dozenns of brake jobs in the past, and I'm not doing anything dumb like leaving the handbrake on.  Prying and banging on them hasn't budged them at all.  It feels like they are still attached somehow.  Also, I see no way to back off the shoes through a hole in the back, like I'm used to.  How can I get the drums off?
And Thanks!

Answer
well to be honest with u i have never ever had a problem like that , i normaly just tap teh drums with a hammer and thats all , unless u have e-brake cables that are stuck on , and if u dooo then i would try to loosen the e-brakes cable , if that doesnt work i would have to say that the wheel cylinder must have stayed stuck on
