Ford Repair: 96 Windstar Not Starting, ford windstar, fuel pump relay

Question
My sister in law has a 96 Ford windstar, she made a trip with it about 500 miles or so and now it wont start. It cranks fine but wont actually start. Originally thought it was the fuel pump after a little investigation. So I replaced the pump and filter and still nothing. We checked the fuses and then we used a little starter fluid just to see if it would start. Well it did, but still not starting on its own, so Im out of ideas to fix it, please HELP! Thank you.

Answer
For some reason it's still not getting fuel.  I would double check the fuse for the fuel pump and also switch the fuel pump relay with a different one (something unimportant like A/C or horn, if they're the same type of relay).  If that doesn't help, there is most likely a wiring problem.  When you first turn the key to "on" the pump should run for about 2 seconds then turn off.  If not, the pump's wiring may be at fault.  If that checks out OK, turn the key to ON and use a test light to see if the injectors are receiving power.  Each injector should have power on one wire but not the other.  Let me know what you find...
