Ford Repair: 460 engine dying, ford f250, distributor cap

Question
I have a 1995 ford f250 460. Driving than the motor just dies. Than very hard to start. It is not the fuel pump as it does it on both tanks. Have replaced the fuel filter, air and breather filters.  Where is the ignition coil on the motor? I can no find it. Do you know of any thing else tht could be wrong? Thank you Arlene.

Answer
Coils rarely go bad on fords, however they did have a lot of ignition module problems.  If the module goes bad, it will act up mostly when hot, and you will have fuel but no spark.  The module is the box on the side of the distributor. Probably wouldn't hurt to check out the distributor cap and rotor as well.  If the check engine light is on, having a shop check for codes may help you locate the problem.
