Ford Repair: replacing seat belt, torx bolts, 1996 ford explorer

Question
I have a 1996 Ford Explorer XL and the seat belt will no longer click and stay fastened.  I bought a new one and the tool to fit and can't figure out how to get at the bolt between the seat and the console.  Help please.

Answer
There are 2 ways to reach the bolt.  Your first option is to remove the seat.  I have done this and it isn't that hard-- there are 4 torx bolts holding it down.  Your second option is to remove the console.  I'm not sure how hard it is to remove, I've never had any reason to try it.  Hope this helps, good luck.
