Ford Repair: 83F150 302 into a 92F150, junk yard, fuel injection

Question
I bought a 302 from a junkyard out of a carburated 1983 f150 to put in a fuelinjected 92f150. The junk yard said i would only have to change intake and electrical for fuel injection from the 92 and put it on older motor then install motor into the 92. Is this true or will I need to do more?

Answer
Chad-

Well, the electrical system and intake will definitely need to be changed for parts compatible with EFI, but everything should physically bolt up just fine.  Ford's 302s haven't changed at all since they were introduced in 1967 so they're very interchangeable.  Basically, if you've still got all of the fuel injection parts from the original '92 motor, they should all just swap over to the new motor.  Hope this helps.
