George, depending on the year, make and model, there could be hundreds.  If the car is not running bad (idling problems, bad gas mileage, etc) then you have the option of not worrying about it.  You can take the car to Autozone and have the code read for free.  If you recently left the car running while you where refilling your fuel tank, then you probably caused a code to be set off.  I hope this helps,   Jason
