Ford Repair: 1993 Ford taurus lx, frost plugs, ford taurus

I have a coolant leaking problem between the engine block and the transmition.  I think it is the freeze plug, how much will I have to remove to be able to replace it? The plug in question is on the same side as the belt and associated parts.

Hi John thanks for asking.
There should only be 6 frost plugs on the front and back of the block( 3 on each side) I need to know exactly where this leak is? if its coming from on top of the transmission, then i would be looking at maby a thermostat housing or a hose, run the engine and carfully inspect everything to pinpoint the leak.
