Ford Repair: 98 Ford Contour Starting Problem, starter solenoid, ford contour

Question
I hit a deer a couple of weeks ago on the passenger side and it took the headlight out and put a small dent right above on the hood.  I pulled over and checked it out, the light was hanging there and a few small dents were visible. I took it home and did not mess with it for a few days.  When I tried to start it the radio comes on and the lights come on but the engine won't turn over at all or make any noise.  I thought it might have been the electronic fuel pump shut off but hitting the deer did not trigger it.  What esle could be keeping the car from wanting to start.

Thanks,

Answer
Matt-

My guess is that the problem is with either the starter itself or the starter solenoid.  It's hard to tell exactly what a hit like that would do to any given car, but I'd say either of those options are your best bet if the car isn't even turning over.  Hope this helps.
