Ford Repair: Change front signal light, light bulbs, ford f150

I have a 97 ford f150 stepside,I've changed the headlghts easy enough but the signals beside the headlghts look impossible to remove. Any suggestions?

To access the park light bulbs you will have to remove the headlamp assembly. There are two flat pins that hold the headlamp into the body, push these to the rear and lift up. Once these are out the headlamp should come out easily, then twist the parking lamp socket out to change the bulb.
