Ford Repair: Error codes, p0171 p0174, isolators

I have two error codes for my 2001 windstar.. P0171/P0174.
81,000 miles..
Any suggestions other than shelling out several $$$ for a mechanic??

The 3.8 engine had several vacuum problems that will cause this code. TSBs related are 03-16-01 and 04-17-04. You should be able to find these on the NHTSA website, I can't provide them due to Ford copyright rules.

The most common is the intake gaskets and bolt isolators on the upper plenum, as well as the PCV grommet and some other vaacuum connectors. The TSB 03-16-01 has a list of parts needed.
