Ford Repair: 1995 ford windstar, obd 2 code reader, rf interference

Question
I have a 95 ford windstar 3.8L i recently replaced the computer due to many electrical malfunctions. Every thing was working fine until about 2 days ago when the check engine light came on and the tach started to bounce around i have a generic obd 2 code reader and the code is 0320 and then today all of the sudden it started to sound like there is an exhaust leak but can not find and it is smelling like gas at the rear of the car could this noise be a bad catalytic converter?????Please help

Answer
P0320 indicates an erratic PIP signal, could be secondary ignition, RF interference, erratic crank sensor signal, or something else.

Smelling gasoline is not an indication of a cat converter problem, more likely a leak, loose filler cap, etc.

As far as the noise I cannot help with that unless I can hear what you are tallking about.
