first of all id like to thank you on all your awesome answers, youve helped alot of people, I have a 1996 thunderbird and its an automatic and id really like to make it a manual is this possible and what will i need to do this swap?

Sure...it's possible, but it's going to be a major pain.  Basically you'll need all of the manual parts from another '96 T-Bird that came with a factory stick.  You'll also need some misc. things like different pedals (manual and automatic trannies have different pedals) and you'll probably need to cut a hole for the clutch pedal.  If it were me, I'd just convert my automatic to a manual valve body (unless your shifter is up on the dash) and call it a day.  A manual valve body in an automatic transmission needs to be shifted just like a manual, but you don't need a clutch and you don't need a whole new transmission.  Hope this helps.
